Message for Mac O'Roni
You probably won't see this, but I can't think of any other way to reach you other than taking out an ad in the Ft. Dodge Gazette ( ? ! ? - now there's an idea).
I just wanted to let you know that after years of your constant nagging (alright; I think you suggested it once or twice back in '04) I have finally started reading Stephen King's Dark Tower series. I just want to say -
You Bitch !
You didn't warn me I wouldn't be able to put it down*. And it's like . . . . 6000 pages! I've got other things to do and I'm only half way through The Wolves of Calla.
* actually, I'm pretty sure you did, but I didn't believe you.

Message for Mac two.
About 3/4 of the way through Wolves of Calla, King makes an unforgivable, utterly mystifying mistake. He refers to ""Professor Peabody's" Wayback Machine. WHERE THE HELL DOES THAT COME FROM? There's no context that could justify it. The ony way he can redeem himself is if he somehow doubles back with some sort of parallel-but-different-world explanation.
I expect you to defend your idol/hero in this forum.
Or not. Your choice.
